City Landmarks – The Last Word Bookstore

DSC_0756

“The Last Word” has moved from the basement of Hot Spot at Khayaban-e-Tauheed to Roadside Cafe behind Boat Basin. Hotspot Cafe has been closed down after a fire broke out due to short circuit. So I have heard. Roadside Cafe has been a wise choice. The Karachi Walla is set to benefit from the decision because he knows no better place to hangout.

The bookstore has been well known for making most out of limited space. You can find so many titles you would not find elsewhere. The hard to get sort of titles and writers in Karachi. They have limited but decent collection of Comics and Children Books too.

You can follow “The Last Word” here and here.

Roadside is open from four in the evening till one O’clock in the night.
