The Karachi Walla met an old acquaintance, another Karachi Walla in Lanka. She has moved to Lanka sometime back and been living there alone. She told me that there is ancient cemetery in her neighborhood, which may capture imagination of a photographer. We spent the evening walking through the narrow lanes inside the cemetery, which is in much better condition than its counterparts in Karachi. There were few families paying homage to their loved ones. The sun was setting in the west, spreading a soft glow on the faces of the mourners and decaying sculptures.
“How do you kill time here, knowing no one?”, I asked
“The only one I need to spend time with is myself”, she replied
Nice post!!
