Nuru Project recently hosted a Photo auction to benefit flood rehabilitation activities of the Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO). Nuru Project leverages photography as an agent for social change and puts work of leading photographers for auction. The funds are used for various development activities.

Around thirty photographs were put on Auction at Indus Valley Campus. The common theme for the photographs was “Dignity”, A concept which is stressed at each point in development projects of Acumen fund. With the proceedings from auction and the generous sponsorship of Engro Corp, Pakistan for Acumen was able to raise over 700,000 PKR.

There will be more to come from Pakistan for Acumen in future. There events may have an elite flavor. but who cares as long as they continue to contribute to the welfare of the society.

Thumbs up team!
